With the all the progress that Microsoft has been trying to accomplish in order to get back in the game with consumers since the announcement of strict policies then the reversal of two of them, you'd think that there would be a better reception for the console.

However, EVO 2013 was one of the avenues where some might say that they can see just which side the gamers are already on.

In the video, both the Xbox One and Killer Instinct, an exclusive for the Microsoft next-gen console, were both present, but instead of getting the crowd hyped up, there were choruses of boos in the background.

Killer Instinct is set to be an exclusive game launch for the Xbox One when it comes to stores this holiday season.

Just when things seem to be going well for Microsoft

The not-so-great reception of the Xbox One at EVO 2013 comes just in light of Microsoft's announcements that, instead of completely removing the family sharing, there is a chance that this feature may still come back.

It seems that fans have already decided that whatever Microsoft's movements in terms of acquiescing to the fans' requests are not meant for the gamers' benefit but the company's.

Perhaps the family sharing may be one of those features that will allow Microsoft to pick up the pieces once more and get back the fan base that has started to drift away.

Preorder an Xbox One at Best Buy

It seems like Best Buy has found a new source of supply for the Xbox One as it opened its preorders for the Xbox One Day One Edition once more, though there's no telling when the supply will keep up.

GameStop has already announced that it will no longer open preorders as the demand has reached the limit of the supply. This means that both the PS4 and the Xbox One have been sold out at GameStop.

There are still preorders being accepted in various other online retailers, though it's more likely that the supplies will either be a standard edition or other bundled versions.

The Xbox One and the PS4 are both slated for a holiday release, with no specific release date yet announced.
