'The Young and the Restless' spoilers for Jan. 30, 2017: Sharon, Nikki and Paul Discuss a possible future without Dylan

Previously on “The Young and the Restless,” Sharon (Sharon Case) faced a hard reality. She also visited Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) for Dylan’s (Steve Burton) sake. Paul (Doug Davidson) was worried that Dylan may be in danger.

On January 30 Sharon, Nikki and Paul will talk about proceeding without Dylan. Sharon will be depressed to learn that she may not see Dylan again. Sharon will be dismayed when Nikki arrives. However, she will be surprised when the latter offers compassion. According to Nikki, she and Sharon can work together after losing Dylan. Nikki aims to improve her relationship with Sharon. On the other hand, Paul assures Sharon and Nikki that Dylan successfully and safely arrived at his secret venue. He also gets an idea which explains why Dylan left Genoa City.
Jack (Peter Bergman) will confess something to Ashley (Eileen Davidson). A party will happen at The Underground. Lauren (Tracey E.Bregman) will enjoy her victory.
Late in the week, Soap Central reveals that Jack will have a huge realization and makes a sudden decision. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will be challenged by her father, Victor (Eric Braeden), and will compel her to execute a power move. Ravi (Abhi Sinha) will notice a different aspect of Ashley. Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) initially has a plan to start anew, but it will backfire. Gloria (Judith Chapman) will fight back. Victor will. Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) will mingle with the wrong crowd at school.
In “The Young and the Restless” casting updates, Tristan Rogers will reprise his role as Colin Atkinson on Jan. 30, 2017. He will appear in a four-episode arc.
Steve Burton previously finalized his involvement on the soap, and will appear for the last time as Dylan in January 2017. Tristan Lake Leabu was cast to play Reed Hellstrom. There is also a current casting call for an African-American male in his early 30s, who is at least six feet tall. The role is for a photographer with style and sex appeal.
“The Young and the Restless” airs on weekdays on CBS in the US. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
