Following a week of shocking revelations and heavy confrontations, it seems like “The Young and the Restless” has no plans to turn down the drama for the episode to air on Monday, August 8.

The episode synopsis on Soaps She Knows gives us a rough idea of what is to happen on August 8.

Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) will find herself concerned that Adam Newman (Justin Hartley) could be shutting her off. Then, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will seek Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) help with regard to his tight issue with Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Phyllis Abbot (Gina Tognoni) just learn about Summer’s engagement and , finally, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) accepts Jill Atkinson’s (Jess Walton) offer.

At the penthouse, Chelsea thanks Chloe for taking some time to see Adam. Chelsea leaves to pay Adam a visit while Victor visits Chloe. After a while, he calls her out and asks her where the diary pages are. She says they already burned. Victor does not bite it while he warns her to consider her baby and the future ahead of her.

While at Crimson Lights, Mariah is surprised to see Kevin has been running around. He says he no longer sees Natalie. Kevin then says the he wants Chloe back with him and needs Mariah’s help for it. Mariah however, advises to the contrary. Kevin imagines a future with Chloe and Bella.

While at Newman Enterprises, Victor is not exactly delighted to see Luca, who wants to be on good terms. Lucas then reveals that he is engaged to Summer. Victor takes the news well , but reveals to him that he does not hire family members anymore. He also gives Luca a stern warning that he is accountable to him if he hurts Summer. When they arrive at home later, Summer would tell Luca that her mother knew of their engagement of took the good news quite well. The couple are very excited to get married indeed.

“The Young and the Restless” airs on CBS every Monday to Friday in the US and on Monday to Friday at 12:00PM on Arena on Foxtel in Australia.
