'The Young and the Restless' (Y&R) spoilers for Dec 14: Victor recalls painful memories, Sharon gets shut out by Nikki, Devon tries to save GC Buzz

Victor gets emotional as he goes through change while Devon does his best to save his company on this upcoming episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

On Wednesday, December 14, some painful memories will make their way back to Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) head. Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) gets shut out by Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott). Meanwhile, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will pull in his best efforts to try and save the downward-spiralling GC Buzz.
Viewers will see Victor’s emotional journey as he recalls some painful memories that he had to go through. While that may look excruciating, fans should be excited to know that this emotional breakdown will pave the way for a brand new Victor Newman in 2017.
Victor will be actually putting his family before work and will do what he can to fix broken relationships, especially those close to his heart. A softer side to him will be revealed as he reminisces some of the memories that made him what he is today.
While that might warm the hearts of many, especially that the Christmas spirit is in the atmosphere, things are not as warm between Sharon and Nikki. It appears that Nikki is not ready to open up to Sharon yet and fix their issues. It even looks like doors will be shut between them for an unknown length of time, writes Soaps She Knows.
As for Devon, it looks like he will be taking more shocking steps after having recently fired his own wife from his company. Of course, Devon had invested a lot in GC Buzz and, although the acquisition was not exactly for business purposes, he would still want to make a profit somehow.
