Everyone will be riled up after the events of the previous episode. This is especially true as Victoria (Amelia Heinle) teams up with Nick (Joshua Morrow) to force Victor (Eric Braeden) to come clean. They are pressuring him to admit that all the schemes was for him to gain revenge. However, their hot seat session with Victor ends when Nikki (Melody Scott) suddenly interrupts them through a call.
After Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) volunteers to shoot Nikki so that Ian (Ray Wise) would give her the gun, the reverse psychology game that the captive women were playing suddenly ends. Ian says that it is fun to play the game. However, he is better than that and now he does not want to play. Instead, he orders Nikki to call Victor in the hospital. Ian will ask Nikki to deliver a message to him, Celebrity Dirty Laundry writes.
It is a huge question for viewers if Phyllis will get out of the situation unscathed. Given her dilemma with Billy (Jason Thompson) and Jack (Peter Bergman), her situation makes for a good test on how the men of her life will react.
After Nikki’s phone call to Victor, a face-off between him and Ian will occur. What viewers need to watch out for is to see who will survive the said encounter. More so, will the two hostages get out of Ian’s guard unhurt?
The family members of Nikki and Phyllis are also becoming emotionally unstable. It seems that Dylan (Steve Burton) starts feeling upset. He will feel this way towards Paul (Doug Davidson). Dylan feels so because of the lack of action happening towards the hostage crisis. He is starting to have an itch to rescue his mother from the situation.
On the other end, Sharon ensues her appointment with the doctor. She starts acting up and gets sedated in the hospital. Her family covers up for her saying that she got upset with the shooting incident in the courthouse. However, in reality she continues to be emotionally and psychologically imbalanced because of the secret she is hiding. Eventually Sharon will be seen making a vow. It is a questions whether she gets to keep her secret or not.
Lastly, movement happens in regard to the hostage situation. It seems that Nikki gets some help from Dylan and Paul, Soap She Knows shares.
“The Young and the Restless” airs weekdays on CBS. It also airs on Arena in Australia.
