'The Young and the Restless' (YR) spoilers for July 6, 2016: Ian and Victor settle their issues; the hostage crisis heats up

“The Young and the Restless” episode for July 6 will be suspense filled as the hostage situation involving Ian, Phyllis and Nikki heats up. Meanwhile, Luca seems to be falling in love with Summer.

The episode starts out with things heating up between Summer (Hunter Haley King) and Luca (Miles Gaston Villanueva). During the past episodes, it was seen that Luca was starting to fall for Summer. Their budding romance is developing fast now.

Victor (Eric Braeden) will have a face-off with Ian (Ray Wise). In this episode, he will be standing up for himself. It is not known if he will step-up against Ian or to all other allegations against him.

However, it is also reported that when Victor escapes, he will be going after Ian. Victor and Ian will have a face off in the cabin. Ian will hustle the ladies out so that they will not get in his way.The aftermath of this face off is something viewers should watch out for.

The episode will also highlight Billy’s (Jason Thompson) story. It is reported that his secret will be revealed during the episode, Soap She Knows shares. Billy’s biggest secret is his affair with Phyllis (Gina Tognoni). There is a possibility that Jack, Phyllis’ husband, will know about their affair. During the last episode, it was seen that Phyllis was taken hostage by Ian.

News on Phyllis’ involvement and condition as a hostage will also spread. There is a chance that Jack and Billy got wind of Phyllis’ condition and Billy will react inappropriately. It is unknown what the repercussions are after his secret is discovered. There is a probability that Phyllis’ marriage will be destroyed. However, there is also a chance that Billy and Phyllis will now be able to freely love each other.

During the last episode, it was seen that Dylan (Steve Burton) and Paul (Doug Davidson) were going to help Nikki. For July 6, they will be helping the Newman family by updating them on Ian’s whereabouts. Summer will have a breakdown after getting news that Ian went to the cabin, because she knows that her mom in is great danger, Celebrity Dirty Laundry writes.
