Things are about to get warm in Genoa as the drama on "The Young and the Restless" takes a break to make way for Thanksgiving.

On Wednesday, November 23, the residents of Genoa will put aside all their differences to make way for a warm Thanksgiving. This, however, does not appear for others in town. Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will yell at Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) after he will speak on behalf of Phyllis Abbott (Gina Tognoni). Abby Rayburn (Melissa Ordway) will urge Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to take that long leap of faith with Travis Crawford (Michael Roark). Nikki Newman (Melody Scott) will warn Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) to stay away from her family.
A lot has been going on in Genoa City over the past months and its residents surely deserve some time off from all the tough drama at least just once in a year, writes Soaps She Knows. Fortunately, spoilers say that such will happen and they could all be family again, at least for a night.
As for Jack and Billy, the path to forgiveness is far from smooth and easy. It looks like they will still go through some intense confrontations. The thing here is, Billy misses his brother and is actually already stepping up to have the damage repaired. No matter how torn apart they are, nothing can change the fact that they are blood. How they will be after this confrontation remains to be seen by viewers on this Thanksgiving episode of “The Young and the Restless.”
As for Victoria, she still has no idea that Travis had cheated on her. She loves Travis very much although she will find out the truth sooner or later. How far she is willing to take her relationship will be revealed as events unfold.
This upcoming episode of “The Young and the Restless” will air on Wednesday, November 23, on CBS in the US. It will also air on Arena in Australia. Y&R is not airing on Thursday and Friday to make way for the Thanksgiving break coverage.
