'The Young and the Restless' (Y&R) spoilers for Oct. 3, 2016: Ashley recognizes Travis; Billy warns Victoria about Travis’ employment; Patty tells Sharon she knew this day would come

Ashley recognizes a person is from her past. Meanwhile, there appears to be a conflict of interest in the business on Monday’s episode of “The Young and the Restless.”

On Monday, October 3, Ashley Abbot (Eileen Davidson) will realize that Travis Crawford (Michael Roark) seems familiar to her. Billy Abbot (Jason Thompson) will issue Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) a warning about Travis being employed with Victor Nemwan (Eric Braeden). Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) will tell Sharon McAvoy (Sharon Case) that she had always known that this day would come.

The full details of Monday’s episode are laid out in a day-ahead recap by Soaps She Knows. There it is revealed that at the station, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will tell Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) that Phyllis Abbot’s (Gina Tognoni) fall has been declared accidental. They begin speculating about the divorce. Paul would not think that Phyllis would be getting her way. Then, they meet up with Dylan who Paul thinks should have been home hours ago. Michael and Paul notice that he gets cagey about what he is working on and that he did not answer.

Victoria and Billy will continue bickering about Travis working for Brash and Sassy under Victor. Billy will say that her own father has been signing her boyfriend’s checks. Billy will begin suspecting that this is in accord with Travis’ plan all along. Victoria then, gets defensive and says that she loves Travis.

Sharon will be on the phone with Patty who keeps going on about every baby who needs a home. Sharon will ask her what drives her to keep on doing this and Patty laughs and tells Sharon that she knew this day would come. Later on, Sharon’s cellphone rings and its no other than Patty again. She gets lonely and says that she needs a friend to talk to. Sharon just snaps at her.
