Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson: Leaked Video of One Direction Members Shows 'Smoking Joint' During 'Where We Are' Tour in Peru
A recently leaked video put One Direction members Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson in a tight spot. The two members of the English-Irish boy band were featured in the video smoking joint and joking about marijuana at the back of an SUV while on their way to the "Where We Are Tour" concert in Peru.
According to the Sugar Scape report, Louis Tomlinson appears to have filmed the video using a camera or a phone. In the controversial video, the 22-year-old pop singer was next to Zayn Malik, 21, who can be seen lighting a roll up that filled their vehicle with smoke as they were leaving Peru.
"Joint lit. Happy days!" Tomlinson stated in the video. Then, he asked Zayn Malik what he thinks about that kind of content and the other One Direction answered that it is "very controversial." The exclusive Mail Online report revealed that Louis and Zayn's "smoking joint" in the SUV happened while the two were traveling with three members of the 1D team to Peru's Estadio Nacional in Lima last April 27.
In the detailed Mail Online report, discussions between the One Direction members, their security and driver can be heard. An unnamed One Direction team member even asked if they were allowed to talk contraband in the film. "Yes, that's what it is about," Louis Tomlinson responded.
The video also revealed Louis' reaction when a police officer escorting them moved closer to their vehicle. "One nil b***h! Look at this b***h! He's having a look. He's thinking, 'I'm sure I can smell an illegal substance in there.' And he's hit the nail on the head," Louis stated. Click HERE to have a look at the photos and video.
One Direction recently returned from South America and the group is set to perform at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, UK before completing their UK and Europe tour. In August, the boys are scheduled to be in Canada and North America.
At the moment, there is still confusion as to who and how the video was leaked. Simon Cowell, owner of the Syco Records label that launched One Direction's career, is expected to be enraged with the leaked video. The spokesman for One Direction declared that the issue on the leaked video is currently in the hands of their lawyers.
