'19 Kids and Counting' Duggar family wish Jason on his birthday; He's 16 and never been kissed
Jim Bob Duggar, Michelle Duggar and Jinger Duggar posted a video wishing Jason on his 16th birthday. Jim revealed in the video that Jason has not been kissed, even though he has turned 16 already.
Jason celebrated his 16th birthday with an ice cream party at his Family Camp in Big Sandy, Texas. In a blog post, the family revealed that even though there are 19 kids, Jim Bob and Michelle make it a point to make each of their kids feel special.
In a video message, Michelle jokingly warned the people on the roads about a new driver in the family. She said she couldn’t believe that it has been 16 years since they first welcomed Jason into the world and their family and thanked god for such a son.
Jim Bob also had another surprise for his son. Another video by the Duggar family shows him getting a former professional soccer player turned pastor to share a few words of wisdom with Jason.
The pastor quoted Corinthians 3:17 from the bible “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
The pastor’s advice to the young man was to keep his gaze fixed on Jesus Christ. He said that as Jason studies Jesus, learns from him and prays to him; he too shall be transformed and imbibe the character of Jesus. He pointed out that although Jason will have a lot of “distractions,” if he keeps his gaze fixed on Jesus; all the other things would just fall into place. The pastor also praised the young man of the Duggar family for being committed and knowing what to do in life.
