Manchester United will be visiting the BayArena to face Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen on matchday 5 of the 2013 UEFA Champions League.

Leverkusen lost to the Red Devils 4-2 on opening night, but has since recovered and remained undefeated in their recent three games in the Champions League, amassing 7 points, to temporarily place second in Group A.

Bayer boss Sami Hyypia revealed that his squad was overwhelmed by the reception given to them at Old Trafford, but indicated that his team has already learnt from invaluable experiences.

"In Manchester we were a bit frightened to play our game, but since we are at home, we want to show our qualities and play in a more uninhibited way. Of course, United have a very good team with a lot of individual quality. We have to work as a team, then we'll be able to beat them," Hyypia told uefa.com.

Bayer's current form earned the respect of United boss David Moyes, who initially thought that Shakhtar Donetsk would be their toughest adversary in the group.

"The next game is always the most important. My initial feeling when I saw the group was that Shakhtar would be the toughest game but this is our last away game and, as it stands, Leverkusen have great home form and are in good shape. It's going to be tough but we have to take points out of this game," said Moyes.
