Newcastle United midfielder Yohan Cabaye may be seen wearing an Arsenal or Liverpool uniform after the ongoing 2013/14 season.

The Frenchman has been a consistent performer for the Magpies since arriving in 2011, sparking interests from English Premier League teams that include Arsenal.

The Gunners offered £10million in the recent summer transfer window to secure Cabaye's services, but the negotiations failed to materialise.

Playing at the most prestigious tournament at club level is the 27-year-old's primordial consideration in making the imminent move.

"I miss the Champions League. I'll finish this season with Newcastle and concentrate on the coming months and then we'll see," Cabaye told RTL, as cited in The Daily Star.

Sources indicate that Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is also interested in taking Cabaye to Anfield.

In any case, clubs need to have their purse ready as Newcastle are not letting go him for a value less than £20million.
