The iPhone 6 on its rumoured September 19 release date will surely fly off the shelves but a new survey pinpointed the three killer features that will make the iPhone 5S sequel a definitive consumer magnet.

No matter the price, 84 per cent of existing iPhone users will upgrade to the upcoming refresh, a new survey conducted by U.S.-based consumer-dedicated online site WalletHero showed. The non-scientific study counted 1500 respondents who listed the features that will convince them to make the buy.

In an interview, WalletHero chief Brennan Sayre told Business Insider that three main considerations emerged as the likely the biggest iPhone 6 selling points.

"One of the pieces of data I found pretty interesting is that people don't seem to care too much about price and seem to look more for screen size, battery, and camera," the online news site reported Sayre as saying.

Longer lasting iPhone battery

Topping the wishlist of Apple fans for the next iPhone is extended battery life. The WalletHero survey said that 97 per cent will jump to the new model if power generator packed with the device will deliver more juice in a single charge.

While recent news have indicated that the iPhone 6 battery rating will be a maximum 1900mAh only, experts remain convinced that the handset will benefit from the improvements that the 64-bit A8 chip and iOS 8 will deliver, making the device energy-efficient and optimal for extended use.

Large screen

Another 85 per cent survey participants answered to the affirmative that the iPhone 6 will be on their shopping list, that is if rumours prove true that Apple will finally stretch its flagship phone's front panel from 4-inch to a larger screen size.

The tech giant remains mum on the matter but numerous leaks and forecasts from analysts point to two iPhone models that likely gadget users will readily embrace - a 4.7-inch build and a 5.5-inch phablet-size edition.

Improved camera

To date, the consensus among Apple watchers is the 8MP main shooter of the iPhone 5S will be carried over to the next generation make but there certainly will be hardware and software enhancements.
