Now that iPhones are out of the way, Apple can now focus on its other products like the iPads and Macs.

According to reports, consumers may have to wait until October for the MacBook Pro 2013 release date after it went missing in action at the recently concluded press event of Apple for the new iPhones. There are different proofs that hint the imminent launch of the laptops by Apple.

Apple is set to launch an update on the Mac operating system. According to the report by 9to5Mac, Apple pushed the release of the new Mac OS along with the new Macs later this year so the company can focus on the iPhone 5S and 5C release date.

OS X Mavericks was announced at the WorldWide Developers' Conference with iOS 7 back in June. The most recent beta of the Mac OS included several improvements that hinted the imminent release date of the official version. Some of the improvements that consumers should expect are "multiple-monitor support, power-user features in Finder, a faster Safari, Maps and iBooks apps, and a redesigned Calendar application."

Another proof that new Macs are coming is the MacBook Pro benchmarks that appeared online. The benchmark showed that the Apple laptop will include an Intel Haswell processor and no dedicated GPU. Moreover, the benchmarks also hinted that the new MacBook will have 4K screen display and longer battery life that yields to better screen resolution and up to 12 hours or more with extensive use.

Lastly, many reports pointed to the rumoured October launch such as Macotakara and The China Times. The Web sites cited supply chain sources saying that Apple is preparing for a Haswell powered MacBook Pro in October.

However, Apple has not confirmed the MacBook Pro 2013 release date rumours as well as the specs and features of the upcoming laptop.
