3 Reasons Why iPhone 6 Release Date is on March 2014
iPhone 6 release date rumours claimed that it will happen on March 2014.
Amidst the on-going sale of Apple's iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C, rumours on the iPhone 6 release date and specs and features emerged.
According to rumours, iPhone 6 release date may take place on the first quarter of next year around January to March.
iPad 4 and iPad Mini release date last year proved that Apple is no longer following its launch dates calendar. This proves that the iPhone 6 may be released on March and the new iPhone may take the original launch slot of new iPads.
This particular rumour is supported by Tim Cook's statement in an earnings call with investors. "Our teams are hard at work on some amazing new hardware, software, and services that we can't wait to introduce this fall and throughout 2014," he said.
The planned iPhone specs and features will be completed. It is speculated that iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C were released by Apple because it has not completed the features it will include in the full-fledged smartphone. Thus, once the company completed all of the updates and innovation that it wants to include in the handset, Apple will most likely release a new smartphone.
Previous reports claimed that iPhone 6 will be the phablet version of Apple with screen size of 5 inches and Full HD support. iPhone 6 is also expected to sport the 64-bit A7 processor and M7 chip; a 12MP rear camera; NFC; fingerprint sensor; internal storage of up to 128GB.
Lastly, the rumoured Samsung Galaxy S5 is pegged for release in March. This posed a great threat to Apple if its newly-released of iPhones were unsuccessful. Based on the rumours, Samsung Galaxy S5 will pack amazing and high end features that will beat all other smartphones in the market.
However, Apple has not commented on the rumours.
