iPhone 6, iPhone 5S will happen in a few hours and we might see big surprises from tech giant Apple.

Are Apple fans up for big surprises at the imminent keynote of Apple? There are a few things that consumers are anticipating in the press event later. Buyers could take delight on the long rumoured "cheaper iPhone". Rumours are undying that Apple will release a low cost smartphone aimed at first time smartphone users and third world markets. The cheaper iPhone is dubbed as iPhone 5C.

Consumers may finally see Apple supporting Near Field Communication. Although this is not a new technology, it is definitely the first for Apple. Lastly, Apple may enter the phablet market by offering a larger screen size on their devices. There were rumours that Apple will offer an iPhone with larger screen display.

This is supported by KGI securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo who wrote in his latest note that Apple will increase the current screen size of iPhone 6 between 4.5 inches and 5 inches by next year. Kuo said that Apple is getting pressured by competitors offering larger screen display.

Based on the rumours spreading like wildfire, iPhone 6 features will pack a larger screen display; A7 quad core chip paired with 3GB RAM; Near Field Communication; 13MP back camera; up to 128GB internal storage and longer battery life.

On the other hand, the low cost iPhone dubbed as iPhone 5S or iPhone 5C features will include 4-inch screen display; a dual core processor; 8MP back camera; and a cheap plastic casing. The handset may come in various colours as hinted in the invite.

However, Apple has not confirmed the details of the iPhone 6, iPhone 5S release date as well as the handsets' specs and features.
