Italian luxury cars popularly known as Lamborghini are known for their speed, beauty and price. However, a prospective buyer will probably remember fire after a new Lamborghini Aventador burst into flames when he went for a test drive.

The unidentified man who went for a test drive said that a fire started from the engine of the black version of Lamborghini Aventador that caused him to jump out of the car. He was able to get out of the car safely before the fire spread and toast the $376,000 car. Spectators joined the man in watching the car turn into ashes as the state fire department tended on the burning mass on the California highway.

Initial reports from Jalopnik said that there were problems on the left rear wheel. The driver pulled over on the side of highway 73 when smoke is coming out of the car. The flames were reported to be outrageous, and firemen where digging to what ended up as scrap metals that melted easily as the flames continued to rage.

Hopefully, this is just an isolated incident for Lamborghini Aventador and will not be a trend unlike to other luxury supercars.

The man who was claimed to be an "internet billionaire" is eyeing the new Lamborghini to add to his collection of luxury cars.
