4 More Xbox One Problems and Fixes: A Smoking Console, TV Judders, Ongoing Online Issues, and More

When the Xbox One launched, one of the problems that gamers have encountered-and a problem that had plagued what Microsoft now calls as an issue affecting just a small number of those with Xbox One-is the faulty disc drive.

Now, Microsoft has recently announced that there will be a free game for those who needed their Xbox One Cone consoles replaced.
Here are some more Xbox One problems with some fixes, and one that is more serious and has not yet been discussed by Microsoft as of yet.
TV Judders
Another problem that European users of the Xbox One are encountering includes what has now been termed as the "TV judders." However, this is an issue where Microsoft has not yet released any official statements about it.
Digital Spy points out the problem being that the Xbox One runs at 60Hz and most European telecasters are only at 50Hz. Hence the extra frame causes the jump in the screen that compromises the quality.
The report has suggested a fix for this issue, albeit more manual than what is expected of the Xbox One as a next-gen console. When watching TV, match the frame rate to 50HZ and just dial it up a notch to 60Hz to avoid sacrificing image quality.

Smoking consoles
First spotted by Spawnfirst in the Xbox One Support forums, it seems that a small number of gamers have also experienced a smoking Xbox One. The description is just as you have imagined it-the top of the Xbox One is emitting smoke.

According to the accounts of those who have seen this, one user had only left his Xbox One to do some cleaning after he had started playing Ryse. When he had gotten back to the game, the Xbox One console was emitting an amber light.
Another one had experienced this, though It had happened after 16 hours of playing. The Xbox One console had turned off and would not restart despite the steps taken. The user had already sent the console back to Microsoft to have it checked

Party chat issues
The Xbox One's party chat feature also suffers from a few setbacks, as there are some users who could only connect to the Xbox Live, but the connection with other friends does not push through.
In the Xbox Support forums, it seems that this issue sometimes manifests as the user being unable to join or even host a multiplayer game. Xbox One Support also provides a link to a troubleshooting guide if you're having this problem.

Xbox One multiplayer is down
Those who are in the UK may know that the Xbox One's multiplayer gaming online has not yet been restored, making it impossible for those who want to play or redeem online vouchers.

According to Trusted Reviews, the online service is still unavailable until now, and will keep you from posting video game performances as well as posting them. Considering that it's close to a week since the Xbox One launch, the persistence of online unavailability should have been resolved, yet for now, don't expect to access this service.
