The list of games for the PS4 stretches on, as more titles receive new information and updates.

"Transistor" is the latest that has been announced complete with release date and pricing for the PS4. PlayStation Blog Europe reports that "Transistor" will be out for €18.99/£14.99.

The sci-fi RPG game that also mixes in strategy and an eye-candy futuristic setting is already at its last stages, with only the finishing touches left to do. According to the developer Supergiant, those who will be attending PAX East can get an update of the progress of the PS4 title.

There will even be a demo of "near-final build" of "Transistor" on the PS4 so that's something to look forward to. Meanwhile, here's the exclusive PS4 trailer of the game.

'DayZ' on the PS4 and Xbox One

"DayZ," the open-world horror game from Dean "Rocket" Hall, may also be seeing a port for the PS4 and even the Xbox One version. However, one criterion needs to be met: the PC build.

Quoting a previous interview, MP1st reports that Hall does recognise the potential demand that his game could have on the consoles, particularly for the next-gen versions.

"I think all the console manufacturers are interested in DayZ, and rightly so because we've sold a fair amount of units in a short [span] of time and it's a game that could potentially transfer quite well to consoles," said Hall via MP1st.

"So really the bottleneck is us. We need to get the PC build to the right state, where then it can pull across, and I think everybody recognises that there's no sense in starting to pull something across that's dramatically changing all the time. So really our focus is on delivering the right stuff and answering all the questions as we go through the Early Access with the PC."

There are noticeably no promises made when it comes to potential ports, but the fact that there is interest in the market and the creator, a PS4 port for "DayZ" may happen in the future.

'H1Z1,' a Free Massively Multiplayer Online Game

And here's another one for the zombie group—Sony Online Entertainment has finally lifted the veil off its newest creation, "H1Z1," a massively multiplayer online game that's also free-to-play with no need for a subscription.

Polygon has gotten some info on the game, which takes inspiration from the hoax zombie virus H1Z1, supposed mutation of the H1N1 of 2009. But for Sony's new MMO, the story is set 15 years into the future where the remaining humans are at the brink of extinction and fighting against those who carry the virus.

It's a pretty standard approach to zombie games, really. Apocalypse with humans cornered and cowering, and the living also becoming your own enemy as you try to survive the longest.

What makes "H1Z1" different from all other survival games is supposedly the new technology that's powering it, which is capable of supporting up to 2,000 players at once. This means that players can have as many allies (and conversely, enemies) as they want and need.

"We are giving players the tools to make their own towns, camps and defenses, and they can decide how to set up their base," said SOE president John Smedley to Polygon. "To use a simple reference... we want our players to make Woodbury from The Walking Dead if they want to. Or take over a prison," he added.

'Shadow Warrior': Brutality at Its Finest

For gamer who are not into zombie gore, this slasher swordplay title "Shadow Warrior" may be more up their speed. The previously PC released game is now debuting on the PS4 and Xbox One.

The Sixth Axis has already explored firsthand what's coming with "Shadow Warrior." It seems that the first person slashing coupled with the fast-paced action would be enough to live up to the gameplay's main style of fighting: by the sword.

As far as the resolution is concerned, iGameResponsibly has reported earlier that the title is already set for 1,080p, 60 FPS on the PS4. This has also been confirmed by developer Flying Wild Hog. The developer is also targeting a summer release.
