5 Really Scary Apps You Might Not Want To Play (But Totally Should)
For Halloween, you can give yourself or friends a good scare. There are horror apps that you can use on the Apple iPad or an android device, depending on what you are using. Some of these are fun while others will send you the chills.
1. Slice HD
The app is for the Apple iPad and costs $2.99. The app was created and developed by SmallBall and gives users the mission to push knives away so they can press a red button. The app is actually inspired by the gore franchise "Saw." There will be blood when you attempt to move knives out of the way, making it a cringing experience.
2. Zombie Infection HD
AppAdvice.com reported that the app was developed by Gameloft. The shooter app lets you go through missions to defend yourself against hordes of zombies. It gets really scary because of the surprise zombie attacks. If you fail, you will turn into a zombie, too. Gamers recommend the iPad version for a more hair-raising experience.
3. Shock
Google Play presented the free app called Shock, which garnered over 19,000 downloads worldwide. The app is a great way to scare friends on Halloween. First pick a scary photo. Next, pick a surprising sound. Finally, set the timer so that the picture and sound suddenly enters the screen while your friend is using the mobile device.
4. Scary Prank ++ Reloaded
Apple.com featured the app to let you scare friends in horror. Run the app then allow someone to use your mobile device. While your unassuming victim uses your device, a scary ghost or image will suddenly appear onscreen together with a loud scary scream. Record your friend's frightened look and reaction on video as the images come out.
5. True Ghost Stories From Around the World
ReadWrite.com reported that the app is available for $1. You can read ghost stories submitted by people from various parts of the world. The anthology continues to grow as more entries are submitted daily. Some of the tales are based on true stories.
