Apple unveiled its 2012 flagship phone, the iPhone 5. Within days of its release, the latest iOS device has set new sales record. However, it seems that the Nokia Lumia 920 is a better choice than the new iPhone 5.

iPhone 5 failed to impress some people due to minimal additions and improvements in the latest device. Most of the features of the new smartphone of Apple were first known based on the rumors about the device.

iPhone 5 boasts some of its amazing features are 4G/LTE connectivity, 4-inch screen display and new operating system.

Finnish mobile manufacturer Nokia also introduced its prime smartphone in the market early this month. Nokia showed off its Lumia 920 powered by the new Windows Phone 8 operating system. Some of the smartphone's specs and features include PureMotion HD+ 4.5 inch display (1280 x 768 resolution), Dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, NFC chip, 2,000mAh battery, and Qi wireless charging. Nokia is touting the Lumia 920′s premier feature as its new camera lens.

According to Nokia the Lumia 920 features a floating camera lens that is designed to provide better image stabilization for both photos and video, it can record full HD video in 1080p.

Below are the five reasons why Nokia Lumia 920 is a better smartphone than Apple's latest smartphone - iPhone 5.

  1. Slightly larger screen display - The Nokia Lumia 920 has a 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ WXGA screen that belittled iPhone 5's 4-inch screen display.
  2. More color variations - Nokia Lumia 920 is available in different colors that match the different personalities of users compared to the usual Black and White colors of iPhone.
  3. NFC - Nokia Lumia 920 supports Near Field Communication, which is not available in the new iPhone 5.
  4. Better camera - Nokia's new smartphone is equipped with 8.7-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and PureView image stabilization which was better than the iPhone 5's 8-megapixel shooter.
  5. Wireless charging - No need to worry that you will run out of battery as Nokia introduces wireless charging that saves you time and energy.

The Nokia Lumia 920 is rumored to be available on October 21.
