More games are slated for release before the year ends, and with it come new trailers and demo walkthroughs as a last hurrah before the fans get their hands on the games.

Five games in particular have each shown off demos and gameplay trailers, to entice you to buy and preorder while there is still time.

Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag

A new developer diary walkthrough from developers of Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag showcases the open-world gameplay of the upcoming open-sea stealth adventure.

The game is the biggest to date for the developers, with over 50 major locations and over 75 uncharted islands, all of which can be explored.

In the video, you will see the pirate village in the Coconut Island. According to game director Ashraf Ismail, you can gain valuable information from sources like these, though it does come with a price--proving that you are worth it with your fists.

One thing to remember when you're trying to gauge if Assassin's Creed 4 is worth your kind of game: exploration is matched by movement, be it free running or free swimming, as the Black Flag takes on adventure on both terrains.

Watch Dogs

Fourteen minutes of glorious Watch Dogs show off just what kind of godly power you can have when you control the knowledge of hacking. It is basically the ultimate weapon for the perfect crime in this recreated Chicago.

In the video, you can see the free roaming mode instead of a mission, so you can do whatever you want. There is much to explore in this city, and you can see a myriad of those in the free roaming mode.

The video also shows you the start of Aiden Pearce's mission of looking for the CTOS server, which holds the power to the hacking. What is interesting in the video is that the developers have ensured that the hacking can be done depending on the player's gaming style--be it aggressive, stealth, or passive.

Watch Dogs will be available on November 22 for current and next-gen consoles, the PC and the Wii U.

DriveClub

Recently, Sony has announced that those who will be getting the free version of DriveClub via the PS Plus can now have a discount if they want to purchase the complete version.

While the free version is essentially already a complete game, it does lack some cars and tracks, though if you are not as iffy when it comes to the total number of cars, this may already be a good deal.

The latest trailer revealed at Gamescom for DriveClub is shown below and showcased at 1080p, though don't expect too much with the quality of YouTube.

Destiny

Originally a thank you to the community, the Destiny trailer features the fans who have been waiting and supporting the game.

"This summer has been an amazing adventure for Bungie. We've traveled from E3 to Gamescom to introduce the world to Destiny," said Bungie in their official YouTube. "Every step of the way, our community has greeted us with passion and enthusiasm. This is a thank you note to you, along with hint of what is yet to come."

In the video, Bungie shows off the awards that Destiny has won, which is a total of 50 at the E3 Awards. Some of these include Best On-Line Multiplayer Game, Best Console Game Sony PlayStation, and Best Action Game.

There are also a couple of new footages revealed in the video that you may want to check out. It ends on a very inviting note, promising that you will be part of the legend in 2014, when Destiny is expected to release.

Beyond: Two Souls

What has to be one of the unique and much-awaited exclusive games for the PS3 is Beyond: Two Souls, which is a mix of thriller, adventure, and the supernatural. The game also features two actors, Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, with Page playing the role of the lead character Jodie.

"We've spent an incredible amount of work on setting character design, because every single detail is crucial to tell this engrossing story," said Guillaume de Fondaumiere, executive producer for BEYOND.

Another demo has been scheduled to release in October, albeit just a few days before the release of the game on the PS3 on October 10.
