DLC News: Borderlands 2, PS4’s The Playroom, and Saints Row 4 Get Updates for DLC
The end is nowhere in sight for Borderlands 2 as of yet, with a new DLC pack scheduled for release this week.
According to developer Gearbox Software, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2: Digistruct Peak Challenge will come on September 3, bringing along a load of content.
The pack includes an increase in level cap by 11 to push it to 72 if combined with the first pack, new skill point with every level for each character for a total of 11, and ability to unlock overpowered enemies for better loot.
Aside from abilities, you also get new a new map and mission Raid on Digistruct Peak, new Legendary class mods, rare Pearlescent-grade weapons, and new heads and skins that you can unlock.
Digital Trends adds that, apart from the second Ultimate Vault Hunter Pack, there are also three confirmed add-ons for the Headhunter packs. These small packs, the first one titled T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest, is designed to have missions with a boss at the end. After you defeat the boss, you will get its head into your collection.
Gearbox is offering a hands-on demo of T.K. Baha's Bloody Harvest at PAX Prime for those who can join the event.
Saints Row IV DLCs come a little early
Even after issues of bans in some areas, publisher Deep Silver has already announced the two add-on DLCs coming.
iDigital Times reports that the publisher is already teasing the first batch of add-ons despite the previous announcement wherein the DLCs will only be available for purchase 45 days after the game's launch.
The two DLCs, Presidential and Grass Roots, are set to be exclusive content for those who have preordered the game, but it seems that they will now be available for purchase at $2.99.
The Presidential Pack allows you to choose from any of the four presidential masks--Lincoln, Washington, G.W. Bush, and Obama-or go with the wings depicting the styles of the past.
The interesting thing about Grass Roots Pack is the arsenal of special Grass Roots weapons, such as a double-barreled shotgun, assault rifle, or even a Plunger Launcher.
Check out the trailer to see what kind of chaos the add-ons are planning to add to the already topsy-turvy world of Saints Row 4.
Saints Row IV has already enjoyed a pretty good launch for the game, as it moved a million copies for both retail and digital.
PS4's The Playroom will get a free DLC
Sony's new bundle, which offers the PS Eye Camera along with the console is looking like a great offer for those who want to enjoy the augmented reality that the add-on accessory can give.
Developer of Double Fine Happy Action is gearing up to create free DLC content for the PS4's The Playroom, reports Kotaku.
During all the teasers of the PS4's offers, Sony has already touched on The Playroom, which is the augmented reality gaming where the PS Eye Camera gets a lot of attention, simply because you cannot access the augmented reality features without the camera.
The new content will be free for all PS4 owners, but you will need the PS Eye Camera to enjoy it.
