'Call of Duty: Ghosts' Free Fall Map Gets a Trailer
"Call of Duty: Ghosts" is aiming to one-up the multiplayer experience for "Call of Duty" fans. This time, developers share what can be expected of the pre-order bonus, Free Fall map.
"Free Fall is a great, new, intense, action-packed map. It also introduces our new mechanic, dynamic maps," said Mark Rubin, executive producer of Infinity Ward. "This idea of bringing that sort of cinematic single-player experience to multiplayer."
The main feature of the experience is that you can expect changing worlds, especially since the map aims to put you in a mission where you will see the word in a topsy-turvy way.
Imagine having to see the movement of falling from a skyscraper onto the ground below - all because your foothold is made of glass. Get ready to find your footing - or lose it - with this dynamic map.
"Call of Duty: Ghosts" will be released on November 5 for the PS3, Xbox 360, PC and Wii U as well as the next-gen consoles when they launch. You have some time until then to pre-order a copy and get Free Fall.
'Battlefield 4': Know More About Commander Mode
DICE is not one to be left behind in terms of first-person shooter games, as it released new intel on the upcoming Commander Mode. The accessory mode for the Battlefield 4 game grants a good deal of power and capabilities to whoever assumes the role of Commander, and the team at DICE has elaborated on this in detail.
According to the official Battlefield 4 Blog, Commander Mode is a great addition to strategic play in the sense that you get two more players acting as Commanders to give you a different view of the game.
By a different view, this means that they will take the birds-eye view of the map, so that they can deploy assets and information to those on the ground to allow the entire team to better grasp the situation at hand.
As Commander, you can expect a number of supplies and capabilities like controlling support to deploy to your team, of which includes supplies, vehicle drops, UAVs and missile strikes. You are also charged with the critical intelligence for targets and objectives.
"As your team carries out your orders and captures objectives, more assets are unlocked for use," according to the official blog.
Of course, with this great power comes a greater responsibility and not meeting those requirements can mean mutiny. In fact, if you are not able to prove your worth as a Commander during a specific time, your team's squad leaders can hold a mutiny if they feel that you should not be a Commander.
What do you think of the Commander Mode for "Battlefield 4"? Are you ready to take charge and put your strategic skills to the test on the battlefield?
