Verizon is offering 50 percent discount on various well-known Android smartphones of 2014. It is offering a two-year contract deal only for $199. The new iPhones are also available with $50 price cut with Verizon.

According to GSMArena, the Galaxy Note 4 is now available with a price tag of $149 with Verizon. However, the usual price of the phablet with Big Red is $299.99. The HTC One M8, the Motorola Droid Turbo, the Sony Xperia Z3v, the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Moto X and the Galaxy Note 3 are all available with a discounted price of $99.99.

Verizon Wireless is also giving all the handsets listed on its website with free overnight shipping facility. In order to avail it, customers are required to place an order by 4 pm local time on Dec 23. This will allow the ordered handset to arrive before Christmas, says Android Headlines. The carrier has not revealed how long the promotional offer will remain active.

With a two-year contract price tag of $49, Verizon Wireless is also selling handsets like the Samsung Galaxy S4, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, and the pre-owned HTC One M8. The LG G2 is available for a cost of $29 that also involves a two-year contract.

There are numerous Android smartphones like the LG G3, Motorola Droid Maxx, Motorola Droid Mini, HTC One remix, LG G Vista, HTC Desire 612, LG Lucid 3 and LG Enact that are available for free with Verizon Wireless along with 24 monthly payments.

In the previous week, IBTimes had reported that other handsets like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are available with attractive discounts with Wal-Mart. Both the new iPhones are available with $50 price cut and it requires users to sign-up for a two-year contract deal with AT&T, Sprint or Verizon. So, Verizon is also giving the 16 GB iPhone 6 and the 16 GB iPhone 6 Plus for $129 and $229, respectively

Without the holiday offer, the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus with 16 GB storage are available for $179 and $299. The offer is also available on the 64 GB editions of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. Verizon is selling them for $229 and $329. The $50 price discount on the new iPhones is currently available at retail outlets of Wal-Mart and not on its website.
