The 6.1.3 jailbreak utility existing in suspicious sites could only waste your time. Or worse, it may cause errors to your iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad 3, iPad 4 or iPad mini, a blog on jailbreaking Apple devices warned.

Evidently, many iDevice users have missed evasion's 'no 6.1.3 jailbreak' memo. "First, it's important to realize that while it's possible to jailbreak all iPhone, iPad and iPod touch models on iOS 6 using evasi0n, the latest firmware the official jailbreak tool supports is iOS 6.1.2," writes evasionjailbreak.com.

A month prior to the rollout of iOS 6.1.3 to Apple iDevices, evasi0n developers took to the media and social channels to indicate their group is not going to jailbreak the new iOS iteration. Citing "too much effort," the evad3rs deemed it best to wait for the next major iOS release. The group is understood to be referring to iOS 7.

Apple blocked many evasi0n-found exploits with the iOS 6.1.3. It is perceived the tech giant is serious in discouraging hackers to jailbreak future iDevices. But the evad3rs in previous interviews indicated they have already found some new exploits. It is, however, best to work on the remaining exploits for iOS 7.

"If you happen to stumble across sites or services that offer paid utilities claiming to be capable of jailbreaking iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4, don't get too excited because they're simply repackaged existing tools that are simply non-functional - their sole purpose is to turn a profit for the fraudulent "developers" that sell them," evasionjailbreak.com warns further.
