Apple will be releasing their newest OS X Mavericks system this month following the launch of iOS 7. Along with the pending release of the newest OS, a number of sources also expect the launch of Apple's 2013 MacBook Pro line. The tech giant has not divulged full details about the MacBook Pro but the latest update on OS Mavericks should give a few hints on what to expect.

While the OS X Mavericks does not transform the Mac system dramatically but it does deliver great improvements for users. There are several reported features that make the Mavericks worth a consideration and might give hints on what the 2013 MacBook Pro should deliver.

Sprite Kit

Game developers work with software frameworks so they can speed up and create games easier. For people who prefer using Objective-C compared to other types of platforms like Platino, Unity3D and Corona SDK, CocoS2D is there. Nonetheless, for OS X Mavericks, Apple is endorsing their own set of APIs especially for 2D games. Sprite Kit comes with the OS.

This may also guarantee better game quality for MAC. Users can also find Sprite Kite in iOS. This means create games is easier. Individuals develop gaming apps across Apple's two operating systems.

App Nap

This is not an application. App Nap refers to a low-level power saving feature that can manage energy usage of different applications. Users can now configure their Safari to receive push notifications. Similar to apps, people do not have to open their Safari to see what goes on with their websites.

Once the user assigns the tag "important" to a file or document, they can easily search for it or related media with the same tag. It is also possible to use tags to organize documents within iCloud.
