Tablet computers will outsell personal computers by 2015 Reuters

Acer has announced that it will sell its new Aspire E series with the new Windows 10 operating system from July 29. The new Aspire E series will be offered with a factory install of Windows 10, which will begin shipping within the first week of August, according to reports.

Besides sporting the latest OS of Microsoft, the models of Acer Aspire E Series will feature Intel's fifth-generation Core processors and a display of 15.6-inches or 17.3-inches, reports ZDNet. The publication also mentioned that, the models of Aspire E Series will be available at a price starting from $449.

Beta News quoted Acer, saying, "E Series are offered in several sizes, with either 15.6-inch or 17.3-inch displays, and in a variety of colors. They feature the latest Intel processors, NVIDIA GeForce 940M series graphics with dedicated DDR3 VRAM, up to 16GB RAM and 2TB HDD/1TB SSD storage options. MU-MIMO technology delivers up to 3x faster performance when connected to an 802.11ac based router.”

Among all the models in Aspire E Series, the E5-573-395Q carries the lowest price tag. It is the only model in the series that uses a Core i3 processor, 4GB of RAM and also includes a DVD drive. The E5-573-58FN, which is priced at an additional $50 gets twice the RAM and Core i5-5200U chip. Core i5-5200U chip also powers E5-573-52US model, which is priced at $549.99 and the E5-5737-5935, which is priced at $599.99. While the E5-573G-5698 model is also priced at $599.99, the E5-573G-56RG model is priced at $649.99, according to the ZDNet report.

The new notebooks in the Aspire E-series range will also have audio technology optimized for Microsoft’s voice assistant Cortana. Besides that, it will also sport the BluelightShield feature that will aid in reducing the amount of blue light emitted from the display, thereby, reducing strain on the eyes that would be exposed to the light due to longer hours of computing.
