It is a dream come true for a budding yet popular artist like Adam Lambert to team up with Queen. They performed a special rendition of the song 'Bohemian Rhapsody' last Saturday as Lambert kicked off his mini tour.

The performance happened in Ukraine as part of the concert of Elton John for the benefit of AIDS research. Twitter users worldwide said that the two-hour set was worthy of praise especially with the contribution that Lambert has made to it.

The set also included other popular Queen songs like 'We Will Rock You' and 'Another One Bites The Dust' amongst the rest. It can be recalled that the very first time Lambert performed with Queen is when he was still a finalist at the 'American Idol.'

Lambert also joined them during the 2011 MTV European Music Awards and they planned on getting on the Sonisphere Festival stage even before it was cancelled last March.

Adam Lambert will continue to serve as frontman for the band on their upcoming shows for 2012. Their next performance will be in Russia right at the Olympic Arena. Lambert also released his brand new album entitled 'Trespassing' in the US. At present, he has sold about 77,000 copies only at its first week.

"I'm so relieved that people liked it as I worked so hard on the record," Lambert said over the DigitalSpy website. Lambert shared that one of the best things about his newest album is that it defines who he really is along with the sound and style of his music.

He became the first 'out and proud' gay male artist to rank on top of the album charts of Billboard. It has been made available for free over the Net as the singer believes this will be important in increasing his level of popularity.
