The singer may have temporarily lost her voice but she definitely hasn't lost her touch. Adele updates her fans by finally going on Twitter.

The sensational singer is now "Rolling in the Deep" with celebrities alike and thousands of her fans on the Tweet-errific social networking site announced on E! Online.

Adele's Twitter account had been active in the past simply as a means of her management team to promote the 23-year old songstress.

However, Adele has finally taken over her own account tweeting for the first time last Sunday. Knowing Adele and her cheeky sense of humor, there was a catch before she would actually start tweeting more.

"Right! Its me!" tweeted Adele last Sunday. "I will start tweeting if 10k of u start following drop4drop & their trip to India this wk. Its a wonderful charity. Go! A xxx."

With a lot of dedicated fans all over the world, it wasn't a surprise to have her request granted immediately.

"F*ck me that was quick! ThankU! I'm in bed, watchin Gladiator, eatin an apple. Here's a pic of me & Queen B last wk in NYC! X," tweeted Adele along with the photo.

Even after cancelling her 2011 shows due to her illness, her fame has not stopped climbing up the charts. In fact, Adele is up for six nominations in the much awaited 2012 Grammy Awards.

This British songstress proves that indeed she can "Turn the tables" even with her condition. Among her nominations include Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Short Form Music Video, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album.

"Thank you for all your positive thoughts and get well wishes," said the singer on her official website. "I'm doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all."

Currently recuperating after her vocal cord laser microsurgery, fans are expecting to hear more from the singer and thankfully Twitter will now make it easy.
