Alexander Wang celebrates 10th anniversary, forms charitable partnership with Kim Kardashian, Kanye West

Fashion designer Alexander Wang is celebrating the 10th anniversary of his fashion house this year, and he’s decided to give back. With the help of numerous famous friends from various industries, he partnered up with DoSomething.org for a charitable collaboration. Among his models are Kanye West and Kim Kardashian.

“Alexander Wang created a collection of t-shirts and hoodies. Featured in a celebrity portrait series shot by @stevenkleinstudio with creative direction by @pascaldangin ,” read a caption in a promo video posted on Wang’s Instagram.

The post further explains that proceeds from the sale of the products will go to DoSomething.org. The charitable institution describes itself as one of the largest global organisations for young people which is aimed at social change. The money is used to fund various campaigns launched by young people all over the world. These campaigns, albeit minute, offer significant changes in society.

Being the most followed person on Instagram, Kim Kardashian is an obvious choice for such a campaign. She shared a photo of herself wearing a t-shirt from the collection to over 44 million followers. Her husband, Kanye West, also jumped at the cause and posted his own photo.

Numerous other celebrities joined the Alexander Wang squad for the 10th anniversary campaign such as Kate Moss, Rod Stewart and The Weeknd. A full gallery of the portraits is currently on display in Alexander Wang's official website.
