A new alleged photo of the Samsung Galaxy S5 stirred up Samsung fans as some thought it was a subtle leak from the company.

Google+ user Raoul Thomas posted a photo of a futuristic smartphone in his account. He said that he saw the said smartphone in when he was watching a movie entitled "Paranoia". This led to speculations that the photo is that of Samsung Galaxy S5.

Some commenters wondered whether the photo is another Samsung Galaxy S5 concept image created by designers as no navigation buttons were shown in the photo. Moreover, it seems that the smartphone is running with a different operating system. Thus, many think if the device is sporting Tizens OS.

Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumoured to pack a 14nm 64-bit Exynos 6 CPU as Samsung and ARM confirmed that it will launch such processor next year. Consumers can also expect 16MP ISOCELL camera and larger screen display with 2,560 x 1,440 WQHD and 560 ppi resolution. With the aforementioned power hugging features, it is expected that Samsung Galaxy S5 will pack 4,000 mAh battery life.

The handset is also predicted to sport a metal casing ditching the usual plastic covering of previous Galaxy S devices although a new report said otherwise. A metal built is not impossible since Samsung finally embraced metallic casing when it released the Samsung Galaxy J in Taiwan earlier this month.

Samsung's next flagship phone may pack a different operating system and is rumoured to ditch Google's Android. The handset may pack a combination of Tizen OS and Firefox OS. As for the release date, it is speculated to be held early next year either at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January or at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February.
