Amal Clooney Goes Casual Chic As She Dines With George Clooney And Her Family

Amal Clooney and George Clooney were up and about in New York City’s Upper East Side as they went on a dinner date with the Alamuddins on April 28. Amal’s parents, Ramzi and Baria, along with their younger daughter Tala, dined at the Caravaggio restaurant in the city.

George Clooney treated his in-laws to Italian fare. He walked arm-in-arm with his mum-in-law, guiding her into the restaurant, according to Express UK.

The Hollywood heartthrob looked dapper in a brown button-down shirt with blue jeans, matching blazer and brown shoes, keeping his look casual for the night out. Baria looked chic in a pair of black satin trousers with a gold embroidered jacket, while Amal’s dad was dressed in a classic suit with light-coloured shirt and a tie.

However, all eyes were on the 37-year-old human rights lawyer Amal who rocked a little black dress. She donned a black and white floral dress with a red waistline for the occasion. The lawyer teamed the summery ensemble with a pair of ankle-length black velvet lace-up gladiator heels. Amal’s dress is by Alexander McQueen while her footwear is by Giambattista Valli.

Amal also matched the floral jacquard knit number with a mirror box clutch. Amal’s raven tresses were left loose over her shoulders in a bouncy and glossy blowout, and there was a pop of red on her lips. Earlier in the day, the style icon was spotted running errands in the city sporting a tan knit top paired with her favourite Citizens of Humanity Corey slouchy slim fit jeans. She paired her casual chic look with a beige Lias J Brand leather jacket. Amal also had a brown Ballin bag and a striking Gucci Horsebit boots. The ankle-length boots with snakeskin texture and chunky block heels served as a casual chic element to her look. The Lebanese-British beauty accessorised her look with a double-wrapped silver chain necklace, drop pearl earrings, and oversized limited edition sunglasses by Heidi London. [Check picture here].

The 53-year-old actor George and his wife have shifted base to New York temporarily. George has remained busy with his shooting schedule for the new film “Money Monster,” which is directed by Jodie Foster co-starring Julia Roberts and Dominic West. Meanwhile, the 37-year-old attorney has also started her stint as a visiting faculty for human rights at the Columbia Law School for its spring term.
