Amal Clooney Shows Off Toned Legs At Dinner Date With Husband, Portrays Understated Elegance At Columbia University
Amal Clooney and George Clooney once again had a date night on April 3. The Hollywood heartthrob and his human rights lawyer wife went for a romantic dinner to Mario Batali’s Babbo. The foodie couple have been spotted enjoying dinner dates in New York City lately. They have been frequenting high profile restaurants like Kappo Masa, Patsy’s and Café Boulud, according to Mirror UK.
This time their stopover for dinner was celebrity chef and TV personality Mario Batali’s Italian restaurant Baboo. The Hollywood power couple were dressed for the occasion. While George looked dapper in a midnight-blue suit paired with a coordinated button-down shirt and shiny oxford shoes, Amal showed off her toned legs in a black and white mini dress.
The 37-year-old flashed her assets in a little black dress that was paired with a sheer, white bolero to keep her warm in the chilly weather. Amal teamed up her ensemble with black high heels. Her dress and shoes were all by Giambattista Valli and she accessorised her look with a small metallic clutch. Her long raven tresses were styled into a bouncy blowout and she went in for red lips.
Meanwhile, the human rights lawyer stunned at the Columbia University campus in New York City on April 6 in a monochrome ensemble. She worked up a flawless style that had an understated elegance to it. Amal was dressed in a knee-length pencil skirt and top in white. The style icon paired it with a light hued Burberry trench coat with chunky black buttons. She added a pop of colour to her outfit with pointed toe multi-colored slingback pumps in satin by Oscar de la Renta. She carried a red bag by Tods that matched with her red lips.
The couple have shifted base to New York temporarily as George is busy shooting for “Money Monster”. The 53-year-old actor is starring in the film directed by Jodie Foster and has Julia Roberts as his co-star. Amal in the meanwhile has started off with her new role as a visiting professor of law at Columbia University.
The Columbia Law School had announced in a statement on March 6 that the British born Lebanese barrister would join as their visiting professor in the spring term. Clooney in a statement also said that it was an honour to teach at the law school. “I look forward to getting to know the next generation of human rights advocates studying here,” said the glamorous lawyer.
