Amal Clooney Takes Her Parents And Sister To Meet Husband George Clooney On The Set Of 'Money Monster'
Amal Clooney paid a refreshing visit to her husband George Clooney in New York as he was shooting on the sets of his film “Money Monster.” Amal was accompanied by her parents Baria and her dad Ramzi Alamuddin on the sets of the film over the weekend. Amal's sister Tala too was present along with her boyfriend Nico to meet George on the sets, various websites write.
Amal wore a 70s style, wide-legged, faded denims along with a pale pink top as she walked along with her husband. The 37-year-old was accompanied by her mother, who was dressed in bright green outfit for the occasion. Later that day, the family went out for a formal dinner to the Italian restaurant Caravaggio in New York. George showed respect to his in-laws as he led Baria by her arm.
The 53-year-old actor and her father-in-law were also involved in a minor accident after they left their dinner. According to a footage obtained by The Mirror, George and Ramzi are seen coming out of their slightly dented, chauffeur-driven vehicle, unhurt. The family was reportedly celebrating Tala's birthday before the incident.
George and Amal got married in a lavish ceremony in September 2014 in Venice. The couple has been living in New York since quite some time now as the move allows both of them to focus on their careers. Amal has joined as a visiting professor position at Columbia University's law school while George is busy shooting for his upcoming film “Money Monster.” Directed by Jodie Foster, other actors in the film are Julia Roberts, Jack O'Connell, Dominic West, and Caitriona Balfe.
George plays the role of Lee Gates, who is a TV personality-turned “money guru of Wall Street,” according to the plot summary available on Internet Movie Data Base (IMDB). Actor Jack O'Connell, who plays Kyle in the film, loses all of his family's money on a bad tip from Gates. He takes his revenge by holding Lee and his family hostage.
