Hollywood has seen her play the ditzy and hilarious girl on "Mean Girls" alongside Lindsay Lohan. Her last flick with Justin Timberlake in the film "In Time" proved Amanda Seyfried can transition from playing cute to kicking ass. Now, Seyfried delves into a much darker role that revolves around sex, lies and sins.

Amanda Seyfried turns brunette in her take on the role of Linda Lovelace, the infamous porn star of the 1970's. Linda Lovelace, or Linda Boreman, was catapulted into the world of adult films when she first starred in the highly-acclaimed x-rated movie, "Deep Throat."

Though Linda was known as the sex-starved woman on screen, her off-screen life was the complete opposite. Chuck Traynor, Linda Lovelace's husband, was the main instigator who brutally harassed his own wife into making porn films.

Earlier rumors stated that Lindsay Lohan was the first choice to play Linda. Though equally talented in her own way, director Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman opted for the blonde beauty, Amanda Seyfried, instead.

So what does "Mamma Mia" star, Amanda, have to say about her role so far?

Before filming even began, Amanda was subject into watching the actual porn flick, "Deep Throat." Her answers to a few interview questions were highly interesting.

"What surprised me is the amount of pubic hair! I'm pretty sure I would never do a full frontal in a movie-for personal reasons, I wouldn't really want to show that," exclaimed Amanda when asked what her reaction about the film, "Deep Throat."

Apart from not being comfortable with going nude onscreen, Amanda also has a few ideals when it comes to sex.

"I'm terrified of being promiscuous. I don't like the feeling you get when it's not something that you truly want to do, and I hate the emotional abuse you give yourself afterward," says Amanda.

"It's just uncomfortable when you're with somebody and you're like, "I don't really know if I'm even comfortable with this. Why did I? Eww!'"

That however won't mean Amanda won't be putting much of a show for her fans in the film, "Lovelace." Producer Patrick Muldoon did say the film itself would have a "lot of nudity" and "be very risqué."

The film also stars Sarah Jessica Parker and James Franco which will soon hit theaters a little later this year.
