Solution: Contact Amazon immediately or use the built-in Mayday feature on your tablet, then report the issue. Be detailed if the haze is a slight blue tint or very noticeable around the screen edges.

Amazon clarified that the device uses blue LEDs which results a narrow but faint blue tint around the edge of their tablet under white background.

Overheating Crisis

Overheating can be very dangerous to the user and some owners reported issues with Kindle Fire HD during game plays, watching movies or surfing through the Web. In rare cases, the device will shutdown which could be a sign of faulty hardware.
