Amazon Kindle Fire HD or HDX: Top 7 Major Problems Encountered and Ways to Fix Them
Amazon claims about 33 per cent of the Android tablet market with their Kindle Fire line-up and got positive reviews. However, some owners experienced the downside of Kindle Fires and may need to deal with them by applying the easy solutions and workarounds provided here.
Purple or Blue Haze Appearing on Screen
Some users reported a purple or blue haze appearing around the screen edges of the Kindle Fire HDX which can be noticed if the background is white. The problem boils down to manufacture defect which requires an immediate replacement.
Solution: Contact Amazon immediately or use the built-in Mayday feature on your tablet, then report the issue. Be detailed if the haze is a slight blue tint or very noticeable around the screen edges.
Amazon clarified that the device uses blue LEDs which results a narrow but faint blue tint around the edge of their tablet under white background.
