Lady Gaga was the first confirmed cast of “American Horror Story” Season 5. She announced via Twitter that she will be starring in the new season of FX’s horror anthology series. The singer also revealed the title of the new season “Hotel.” Recently at PaleyFest, Matt Bomer and Cheyenne Jackson were introduced as the new cast members of the new season.

For Jackson, it will be his first appearance on the show while Bomer was one of the guest stars of Season 4, “American Horror Story-Freak Show.” He made an appearance as hustler boy Andy in episode 5, “Pink Cupcakes.” In the episode, Bomer’s character met a gruesome end at the hands of Dandy (Finn Wittrock).

At the PaleyFest, Bomer and Jackson did not reveal details about their characters. It is, however, confirmed that Bomer, like Lady Gaga, will be playing one of the leads. Speaking about whether his character will be romantically involved with Lady Gaga’s Character, the “White Collar” actor said, as quoted by Deadline.com, “I can’t confirm or deny that there might be a love interest.”

“American Horror Story: Hotel” has also added Wes Bentley to its cast. Ryan Murphy, co-creator of the show, took to Twitter to announce that the actor has signed on as a series regular. “Thrilled to announce Wes Bentley will be a series regular on AHS: Hotel,” Murphy said on Twitter.

Bentley had a recurring role as Edward Mordrake, the two-faced mythical character in “American Horror Story-Freak Show.” He appeared in the Halloween two-parter episode, titled “Edward Mordrake” part 1 and part 2. Also, the actor returned in the final episode of Season 4.

Meanwhile, Jessica Lange herself confirmed that she is done with “American Horror Story.” It is not yet confirmed who else from the original cast is returning to star in “American Horror Story-Hotel.” There is strong buzz that Kathy Bates is returning but there is uncertainty surrounding Sarah Paulson, Emma Roberts and Angela Bassett’s return. At PaleyFest, Evan Peter indicated that he may do the upcoming season.

The production on “American Horror Story-Hotel” is scheduled to begin in late summer. The new season is expected to premiere sometime in late October 2015.
