The unassuming and shy but big winner of American Idol 2013, 23-year-old Candice Glover of South Carolina actually bites! In a post final show interview, Candice had strongly asserted that she saw no one, even Angie Miller a threat on Idol Season 12.

Critics and Angie’s hundreds of thousands of followers continue to express support for the 19-year-old second Idol runner up. And they have taken to her Facebook page to let her know that for them, she won this season.

Monique Weber : “I freakin' love you so much won't watch american idol anymore I'm from South Africa plz tell me you're comin to SA and when wil you be releasing an album because I'm buying one as soon as it hits SA. I LOVE YOU # so pissed off it should of been you standing there on stage an the confetti falling down on your face and hair(angry face).”

Lisa Martin: “Angie, A South African missionary brought a message to us recently that I thought was fitting for you. "Our wrong is sometimes God's right!" What America got wrong, God got right! You are going to be so much better off from the postion you are in to reach people with your music and beautiful spirit! God Bless!”

Trish Dierkes: “Simon Cowell needs to offer you a contract...your the best, quit watching after you left...so disappointed you weren't next idol!”

Candice is fully aware of the show of support of Angie’s followers. When the girl with the big curls and the big smiles was sent home on the Top 3 final episode on American Idol 2013, the next question that was reverberating back then was who would benefit from her votes and if she and Kree would benefit from it, too.

“I know that Angie has a humungous fanbase who are very dedicated to her, but I am pretty sure that we all did, so I don’t think that her leaving was necessarily a benefit to anyone,” Candice was quoted as saying in an interview by UnrealityTV.

She emphasized that she didn’t see Angie a threat to her stand on Idol Season 12.

Candice asserted, “I know that it shocked America, but I also know that she will go on and be very successful. She will be fine because she has such a big fan base, but because all of us were so different and had different types of fan bases, I wouldn’t have said she was a threat to anyone really.”

Now that the competition is over, the realities continue. Candice, along with Top Finalists on Idol are embarking on Idol tour beginning June 30 (as its initial reported schedule). And Candice said she could not be more excited to go on tour.

“I’m most looking forward to singing and not having to worry about being judged or making it through to the following stage. It will be nice just singing to the fans and getting to spend time with the top 10 or 11 again,” the newest American Idol said.
