The fastest and smoothest Android is about to come in your devices as Google introduced its latest version - Jelly Bean.

A day full of incomprehensible language of web codes marks the first day of Google Developers Conference. Applications developers rejoiced in the inception of the upgraded Android OS.

Search engine empire Google unveiled Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on the first day of Google I/O Developers Conference at Moscone West in San Francisco.

One of the major improvements is the text input, especially voice typing. Google now comes with its own version of Apple's Siri. Voice typing no longer depends on your connection as the voice interpreter is a built-in feature in the new OS. The predictive keyword can now guess the words that you are about to type. For now, English (U.S.) is currently supported. However, Google is working on other languages.

Speaking of languages, Google will support 18 local languages including Arabic and Hebrew. Moreover, Google now supports right-to-left typing for languages following that format.

Google gave its Notifications a face lift enabling users to access various options easily making it like a tiled interface. Return phone calls without going to the call log or view multiple emails. Use gestures to pull down, spread and open apps and options right on your screen. Moreover, users can now organize notifications from apps and disable notifications from apps that they seldom use or browse.

Google improved its accessibility allowing users to easily access different stuffs and apps in your device. Blind people can now also experience Android with the new feature Gesture Mode. Android now supports external braille devices allowing handicapped people to use latest technology.

Camera app is also improved allowing users to swiftly review their photos. Ice Cream Sandwich users are already familiar with the stock Camera app's quick-shooting capabilities. In Jelly Bean, users can pinch to enter a film strip view for faster perusal.

Android is also developing NFC support further. Speakers in the Google conference announce that they are still exploring this feature and continuously improving it. However, the new Android allows users to share contents via NFC.

Being the top search engine company, Google enhanced mobile search by allowing users to access information through voice. Google can display and read out search results with a very natural sounding female voice. Swiping away those response "cards" reveals regular search results.

Google aims to make Android experience smoother; thus, the new Android is Project Butter. Google wants to make the experience "buttery" smooth. The new Jelly Bean is "framerate to 60 FPS, and implemented vsync and triple buffering to tighten up the experience."

Various app developers were interviewed in between talks to showcase their products that will soon invade the Google Market. App developers are now given access to respond to users' comments on Google Play in order to support users and further improve their apps. However, this access is currently given to top app developers.

Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will be available in the middle of July along with the Nexus Tablet. The new mobile OS will come to the Galaxy Nexus, Nexus S, and Motorola Xoom. Software Development Kit is now available to developers itching to try the new operating system.
