Android 4.3 Jelly Bean New Camera UI Revealed on Nexus 4; Galaxy Nexus, LG Optimus L7 II Dual & Asus K008 7-inch Tablet Will Run New OS?
The unconfirmed and rumoured Android 4.3 may to appear soon on four Android devices - LG Nexus 4, Samsung Galaxy Nexus, LG Optimus L7 II Dual and Asus K008 7-inch tablet with the revelation of a new camera interface.
Nexus 4 and New Camera UI
Android 4.3 camera UI has been exposed and first seen running on LG Nexus 4 at the Thailand Mobile Expo running an update camera app.
According to the leaked video, the new camera app is pretty consistent and reveals that the camera button layout has been changed for easy access to settings by simply using a thumb and less impact to unintentional pressing of wrong buttons.
Galaxy Nexus with Android 4.3?
After the leaked video of LG Nexus 4 running Android 4.3 new camera app, another Nexus device seems to have received a new update related to the rumoured OS. Samsung Galaxy Nexus GT-I9250 received a re-certification of its Bluetooth standards which required to check if the device is eligible for Android 4.3.
Bluetooth Low Energy or BLE has been associated with Android 4.3 OS which allows low energy usage of the Bluetooth wireless connectivity without affecting range. Bluetooth SIG passed Galaxy Nexus on its re-certification which may indicate that Android 4.3 update is coming soon.
LG Optimus L7 II Dual runs Android 4.3?
Android 4.3 hasn't materialize yet but a post on LG's Web site indicated that the Optimus L7 II Dual is running Android 4.3 OS. According to the Mobile World Congress demonstration and GSMArena, the LG Optimus L7 II Dual runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and would be available to some markets.
The number "4.3" may also indicate a typographical error on the company's Web site and could mean that the device has 4.3-inches of screen display. So far, LG hasn't made any clarification if the LG Optimus L7 II Dual will actually run Android 4.3 OS.
ASUS K008 7" Tablet Spotted with Android 4.3
An unannounced 7-inch tablet from ASUS has been spotted at the Bluetooth SIG and apparently, it runs Android 4.3 version. The device model is called K008 and based on the documentation by from Bluetooth SIG; it runs a software build version JWR11.
JWR11 is said to be a build version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and has been linked to many devices based on server logs. K008 from ASUS was last assessed on June 10, 2013 and will feature a 7-inch LED-backlit capacitive multi-touch screen.
Google always run their latest Android version with the most recent Nexus device and then later released to all other Nexus compatible to the brand new Android OS. Expect more and more Android devices to tested by Bluetooth SIG which signifies the soon release date of Android 4.3 update.
