Leaked Android 4.4 KitKat details reveal that Google Nexus 5 will allow wireless charging. Expected to be released this October, many sources are calling the Nexus 5 as possibly the most "powerful" Android smartphone to hit the market this year.

Cited to be released around mid-October, it looks like people will be more delighted to know that the next smartphone will possibly support wireless charging. The wireless charging option will be similar to the system found in Nokia Lumia 920 or the Samsung Galaxy S4. It is important to note that despite the wireless charging option in Google Nexus 4, the charging pad of the phone still had restricted availability.

It would be giant leap for the Nexus 5 if it can truly deliver wireless charging.

A log file leaked of the Android 4.4 KitKat from Myce leaked several screen shots. It was also reported that the Google Nexus 5 included 1,920 x 1,080 Full HD. Wireless charging has already been included in the specs sheet, so people can really expect it in the next Nexus.

According to reports, Nexus will have similar specs as that of LG's G2. Details include 5-inch Full HD display, 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 16 GB internal memory, 2 GB RAM, LTE support, , 8-megapixel rear camera, 1.2-megapixel front camera and a 2,300 mAh battery.

A tip last week also indicated the Google Nexus 5 can match Apple's iPhone 5 in terms of power. It should be the phone that can represent the Android system best. The market will have to wait for the official specs and announcement to make a final verdict about the handset.

There is a great deal of attention over the device because it will be the first phone to feature the Android 4.4 KitKat. As Google continues to release their newest line of Nexus devices, it has also been reported that it is possible to see a Nexus 11 launch.

Google often releases their Nexus devices around November, and it is likely that it will release a device near or within the period for 2013. Like the Nexus 5, people will have to wait for official confirmation about the Nexus 11.
