The Android 4.4 KitKat update has started for Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Play editions. The update is now available over-the air (OTA), which means both Galaxy S4 and HTC One Google Edition devices, and owners can now begin to download the new Android 4.4 KitKat update.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 and S3 devices in all network providers have almost finished the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update. The Samsung global fans can now anticipate the schedule of the Android 4.4 KitKat upgrade.

However, despite the release of the Android 4.4 KitKat on Google Play editions of Galaxy S4 and HTC One, the Korean company remained silent on the official release date of the candy bar update for Galaxy S4, S3, Note 3 and 2.
