Owners of LG Nexus 4; ASUS Nexus 7 2012 and 2013; and Samsung Nexus 10 can now update with Android 4.4 KitKat after Google's announcement. Android 4.4 update rollout will be accessible via Over-the-Air procedure, delivering more than 10 changes and features to Nexus devices.

Official Announcement from Google

Android's official Twitter account tweeted the Android 4.4 KitKat update for LG Nexus 4; ASUS Nexus 7 2012 and 2013; and Samsung Nexus 10 coming next week via Firmware Over-the-Air procedure.

Google's timely update rollout for the three Nexus devices seems to have matched the schedule announced by HTC for the Google Play Edition of HTC One that is treated as a Nexus smartphone as well.

Android 4.4 KitKat will take owners of Nexus 4, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 to the next level due to various changes, enhancements and improvements. However, it is not certain if every single feature found in Nexus 5 is included on the new firmware.

Flow of Android 4.4 Update

According to Android Advices, the Samsung Nexus 10 gets ahead of with the update which begins today, and owners should check their built-in software updater inside the tablet. The ASUS Nexus 7 Wi-Fi variant follows the Nexus 10, while the mobile data variant of the 7-inch tablet will wait a little longer for the new firmware.

After that, the LG Nexus 4 is next on the list and other variants which weren't included on the first few days of the firmware update. Google releases its update gradually to prevent congestion and instant bug crisis at same time among users. Additionally, advanced users of Nexus devices can always do this manually by downloading the firmware from the Web site.
