The market has been waiting patiently for the release of Android 4.4 KitKat. Just like another day in tech, so long as the product has not been released, main sources of information come from updates and leaks. This time, another leak about Android 4.4 KitKat surfaced.

According to a report by Gadget Helpline, the leaked images of the Android 4.4 KitKat reveal some apparent markings of the Key Lime Pie. Key Lime Pie was the original codename of the 4.4 Android interface before Google made the announcement to KitKat.

The build is supposed to be for the Hammerhead. This is the codename used for the upcoming Nexus phone. Despite the leak being around for quite some time now, it still provides people some clues about the upcoming device's features. It gives the market some idea on what it will be like when Android KitKat finally rolls out.

People will find a new printing option in the Setting menu. This means that native printing will soon be available to Android. This will all be possible through Google's Cloud Print. Likewise, the Settings menu will also reportedly provide new rooms for mobile plan management and payments.

Mobile plan management, which is now accessible to a number of custom ROMS, appears to help direct users to access the management site of their carrier. This will depend on the plan they are working with.

Other reported changes include a redesigned dialer, white notification bar icons such as clock, battery and WiFi including additional options. Users will find more things on their photo editor than before. The build has been around for quite some time, but it should offer a good insight on what to expect as Google has not announced anything.

There are no official announcements about the newest features and added functions. There have been images of the build circulating on the Internet as well. Many sources cite that the Nexus 5 and the Nexus 10 may have the same release date as the Android 4.4 KitKat. They will become the flagship devices for the newest operating system from Android.

Once Google's Android 4.4 KitKat goes out, it will compete directly with Apple's newest iOS 7. It will be interesting to see how it will perform against iOS.
