The Motorola Moto X, Moto G and Moto E will get the newest update for Android KitKat, KitKat 4.4.3,, the global rollout of which is currently underway.

The update will start to roll out to the three Motorola devices with the T-Mobile Moto X unlocked variant, Moto G unlocked variant and Moto E unlocked variant first in line. The Moto G model will be the U.S. online and Brazil retail model while the Moto E update will be for the U.S. and Canada variants.

The Android 4.4.3 update doesn't have any big changes and improvements. It is known that the Android 4.4.3 update is just an incremental update that comes with minor bug fixes.

Thus far, the next major update for Android will soon be released after Google I/O 2014, which is will take place on June 25 and June 26. This update is expected to be a real game changer.

According to Motorola, Moto E will still receive the next major Android update, as the company plans to support the gadget to at least Android 4.5 or Android 5.0v, but it doesn't say that it won't receive support beyond that. That's no doubt unbiased enough for a super-budget device.

The changes in the Android 4.4.3 update for the Moto X, Moto G and Moto E comprise developed dialler, new interface, new colours to upgrade usability and consistency along with fixes to develop stability, framework, security and enhancements to power profile capabilities. The Moto X will have "Improved camera image quality for Moto X including better consistency of exposure, more realistic flash colouring, and improved photos in low light conditions using front camera."

On the other hand, both the Moto X and Moto G will have a pause and resume button on the view menu for video recording. The Motorola alert feature will be involved in this Android update for Moto X and Moto G users, the app has the ability to send periodic messages to chosen emergency contacts.

Just like before, the update needs few days before it will officially roll out OTA to owners who have rooted devices. If you wish to update OTA, you will need to flash your Moto X, Moto G or Moto E back to factory settings.
