Android 4.4 KitKat has rolled to most devices and now it appears Google and other manufacturers like Samsung are gearing up for another rollout - the Android 4.4.3. The Android 4.4.3's main purpose will be to address bugs and issues caused by previous Android updates. Aside from its bug fixing nature, new information suggests that Google also plans to introduce some changes in the interface through Android 4.4.3. One of these is a new navigation button.

According to a report by Android Community, the Android 4.4.3 update may introduce an updated navigation bar. In the report, people can see improved recent tasks and back buttons. There is also a new center button instead of the usual home option. It supports a previous lead saying that the firmware is currently being dogfeeded internally. This means that Google may be ready soon for a release.

The image reported features a customized navigation bar. There are also two side buttons like the usual allowing users to return or check apps used recently. This will be ideal for users who like to multitask. It is apparent the buttons became sleeker although the functionality is the same. According to Android Community's report, the styling is appealing although some users may have to get used to the new center button.

Taking out the home button and replacing it with a "Google" option leads to Google Now instead of directing users to the home button repeatedly. The Google Now launcher offers Nexus owners a more convenient way to work with Google Now. Likewise, it also gives people the chance to keep apps and widgets in their home screen. The latest leak says that Google will transform the buttons providing a different setup when the user is in the home screen or when the user is in the app. The Google button will serve as Google Now's portal when on the home screen. The home, on the other hand, will take over once the user opens the app. It appears Google has been working on a new integration for a different Android experience.

More documents and information surface by the day supporting the release of the Android 4.4.3 update. According to a leaked Samsung document via SamMobile, the Korean tech giant has been testing a Android 4.4.3 build number KTU70 on devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE and Samsung Galaxy S5 variant. The document also noted that Samsung has been testing Galaxy Grand 2, Galaxy Mega 5.8, and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 for Android 4.4.2 rollout.
