Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie, Have a Sample of Its Taste
Google's latest iteration of its Android operating system is rumored to target a release date of October this year. Following its theme of naming its offerings after food, version 5.0 is codenamed Key Lime Pie.
So what can this technologically-centric world expect from the search giant's latest update? As of this writing, there has been no official word from Google yet. Small servings of hints have been circulating the web though. A 'taste test' was first done on Nenamark, a benchmarking website, giving rise to speculations that the latest platform might make its debut through a Sony Nexus handset.
It can be recalled that the tech giant have famously collaborated with popular manufacturers to showcase its latest contributions to the tech industry. Successful partnerships have been made between Google and HTC, LG, and Samsung for instance.
With the increasing positive responses from satisfied consumers, the Android operating system was able to closely compete with Apple's iOS, an offering from a company long hailed as a powerful revolutionary force that rules the IT landscape.
Although we still have to wait until Google finally reveals the secret ingredients of its Key Lime Pie, it is safe to assume that we are in for an irresistible treat.
