Angelina Jolie-Brad Pitt divorce catches George Clooney by surprise, Hollywood stars react to Brangelina split

Angelina Jolie’s move to file divorce from her husband-of-two-years, Brad Pitt, has sent the world into shock and the internet into frenzy.

While Jolie’s and Pitt’s ex-partners kept their thoughts over the news to themselves, other Hollywood stars could not help but react on the celebrity couple’s impending divorce. Like die-hard Brangelina fans, high-profile show business personalities are upset about the news, too.

For one, actor George Clooney was caught unaware of the couple's rocky marriage when asked of his reaction on the Jolie-Pitt divorce. Clooney has forged friendship with the couple after several years of filming with Pitt on the "Oceans" movie franchise.

In an interview with CNN, Clooney admitted that he doesn't know about the couple's decision to split.

“I feel very sorry,” he said. “That’s a sad story about a family, I’m very sorry to hear that.”

Meanwhile, Actress Alyssa Milano and and model Chrissy Teigen said the news about the Jolie-Pitt divorce has upset them.

Actress and author Jenny Mollen is equally shocked.

Meanwhile, television personality and model Stassi Schroeder said news about the Brangelina split made her wonder about the future of other Hollywood celebrity couples.

Conversely, a handful of celebrities took the news lightly, with some joining Brangelina fans in posting Jennifer Aniston memes.
