iPhone 6 release date may show off a smartphone with 4.9 inches screen display.

Tech Web site PC-Tablet cited C Technology saying that Apple is testing 4.9 screen displays for the successor of the company's iPhone 5C. This stirred away from the previous rumours saying that a full-fledged iPhone, not a low cost smartphone, will pack a larger screen display.

However, the report clearly stated that even the successor of the low cost iPhone 5C will sport a bigger screen. Thus, Apple may bring introduce two smartphones again next year as the successors of iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C both packing larger screen displays.

Apple is hesitant in increasing the screen size of its devices for its developers. However, its rivals such as Samsung willingly increased the screens of its devices.

However, designers, analysts and businessmen agreed that the next iPhone will and should sport a larger screen. Various iPhone 6 concepts showed off a smartphone with much larger screen. The most recent concept is designed by Iskander Utebayev, which boasts an interesting wraparound display that would turn the left side of the handset into a tiny display where certain settings or apps including volume controls, flashlight, alarm, calculator, camera and music player controls can be placed.

A lot of people agree that iPhone 6 will pack a larger screen although Apple is hesitant in increasing the size of its screen displays for the iOS developers. Moreover, the next Apple flagship smartphone may keep the iPhone 5S' 64-bit A7 processor, M7 graphics chip and the fingerprint sensor.

However, Apple has not revealed the iPhone 6 release date although recent rumours point to the second half 2014 for the launch of the device, most probably in June. June is the original release date of Apple's iPhone.

In line with this, rumours also claimed that Apple will release a new iPad with larger screen display in late 2014. According to a report from DigiTimes, Apple will be releasing a new tablet with a 12.9-inch screen display manufactured by Quanta Computer. The rumoured tablet will be aiming for the education and business sectors; thus, will be produced in limited quantities.
